Guests using our transfer service will be warmly greeted at their Hanoi Old Quarter hotels. Sit back and enjoy a comfortable, scenic drive to the coast.

11:30 - 12:00 | Welcome to Ao Tien Port – A New Way to Discover Ha Long 
Arrive at Ao Tien Cruise Terminal, where the ORIS Team welcomes you and assists with check-in before boarding.

12:00 - 12:30 | Welcome Home to ORIS CRUISES
Board ORIS Cruises and settle into your home on the bay. Enjoy a welcome drink, meet the crew and experience our signature Three Welcome Drumbeats, followed by a brief safety introduction. Check into your cabin and take time to settle in. Step onto your private balcony, watch the limestone landscape drift past or simply enjoy a quiet moment as ORIS journeys deeper into the bay.

Lunch is served in the Tonkin Dining Room as ORIS cruises towards Tay Hoy Bay.
Inspired by Northern Vietnamese flavours and the coastal traditions of Quang Ninh, the meal offers a gentle introduction to the region through local ingredients and familiar Vietnamese dishes.

15:00 - 16:30 | Kayaking at Tay Hoi Island
Discover Tay Hoi Island, paddle quietly by kayak between the rock formations and experience the bay at water level, surrounded by the natural stillness of this lesser-travelled area. Kayaking is subject to weather, tidal and local operating conditions.

16:30 - 17:00 | Return Home
Return to ORIS for an unhurried afternoon and ORIS makes her way toward the tranquil anchorage of Nha Tro area.

17:00 - 19:00 | Golden Hour Sunset Party & Cooking Demonstration
Take this time to relax in your cabin, unwind in the Jacuzzi pool, or find your favorite spot on the sundeck as the afternoon light softens over the bay. As evening settles over the bay, enjoy drinks and light refreshments during Sunset Hour. During this time, join our interactive cooking demonstration to master traditional Vietnamese spring rolls, alongside other selected cultural activities.

19:00 | Heritage Dinner
Gather in the Tonkin Dining Room for our signature Heritage Dinner. Inspired by the flavours, ingredients and memories of a Northern Vietnamese home, dinner is presented as a contemporary journey through the culinary heritage of Tonkin.

20:30 | Evening Lounge & Night Squid Fishing
Enjoy a drink, spend time beneath the night sky, try squid fishing or simply retreat to your cabin and enjoy the stillness of the bay.
Stay overnight in the peaceful heart of the bay.

DAY 2: A DAY WITH THE FISHERMEN - SIGNATURE EXPERIENCE

07:00 - 08:00 | A Gentle Morning on the Bay
Wake to another peaceful morning aboard ORIS and enjoy breakfast as the bay slowly comes to life. Take your time over coffee or tea before preparing for a day closer to the local life of the bay.

08:30 | Journey into Local Life
A speedboat picks you up directly from ORIS and takes you towards the local fishing community.
Today is less about sightseeing and more about experiencing how generations of local families have lived and worked with the sea.

09:00 - 10:30 | Fishing with the Locals
Meet local fishermen and join them for a hands-on experience on the water. Rather than a demonstration prepared for visitors, the experience offers a glimpse into the everyday skills, patience and knowledge behind life on the bay.
Fishing activities and catches vary according to the seasons, weather and natural conditions:

• April - September: Join local fishermen in checking and hauling traditional traps to harvest “Cù kỳ” (stone crab), one of the most Quang Ninh’s distinctive seasonal seafood delicacies.
• October - March: Experience traditional net fishing and learn how local fishermen set, retrieve and handle their catch, or, guided by local families, discover how generations have lived in harmony with the sea through traditional aquaculture (such as harvesting fresh oysters).

10:30 | From Sea to Floating Home
Return with the fishermen to their floating home. See how the morning's catch is cleaned and prepared, and learn simple techniques traditionally used by local families to handle fresh seafood. Guests are welcome to take part in some of the preparation alongside their hosts.

11:30 - 13:00 | From the Sea to the Table
Gather around the table for lunch on the floating house. Whenever conditions allow, part of the morning's catch will be prepared as part of the meal, accompanied by other local dishes. More than lunch, this is time to sit with your hosts, share stories and experience the relationship between the people of the bay and the waters that sustain them. From the sea, to the kitchen, to the table.

13:00 - 14:00 | Rest & Life on the Floating Village
After lunch, slow down. Spend time with the local community, enjoy the surroundings or simply rest before continuing the afternoon journey.

14:00 - 15:30 | Fishing Village & Afternoon Waters
Continue by boat towards Fishing Village, discovering another quiet corner of life on the bay. Weather and water conditions permitting, stop for a refreshing swim before taking time to explore the surrounding seascape.

15:30 - 16:00 | Return Home to ORIS
The speedboat takes you back to the main boat. Return to your cabin for a shower and some time to rest after a day on the water. After 16:00, relax on the sundeck, enjoy the Jacuzzi Pool or settle into your favourite corner of ORIS as the afternoon fades. Sunset drinks and dinner are served aboard, followed by a peaceful second night on the bay.

19:00 | Enjoy an Exquisite Dinner
Treat yourself to another culinary journey with our chef’s curated dinner menu, blending global sophistication with local heritage flavors.

20:30 | Serene Evening & Night Squid Fishing
Take the rest of the night to embrace the absolute tranquility of the bay: enjoy drinks under the starlight on the sundeck (subject to charge), unwind in your elegant cabin, or try your luck at night squid fishing alongside our crew. Overnight at Cong Do.

DAY 3: LONG VAN CAVE - AO TIEN PORT - HANOI (B, BR)

06:00 | Coffee Meditation on Sundeck
Greet the morning mist drifting over the karst towers and experience traditional Vietnamese drip coffee brewing. While the coffee leisurely drips, listen to stories of agricultural grains and culture from our Tour guide, savoring your brew as the soothing morning bell chimes.

07:00 | Light Energy Breakfast
Enjoy a light breakfast with fresh pastries, tea, and coffee as the ship continues navigating the breathtaking seascape.

08:00 - 08:15 | Crossing the Bay: Explore Long Van Cave
Enjoy a relaxed morning as Oris Cruises sails towards Long Van Cave, one of the hidden geological treasures of Ha Long – Van Don.
Carved by nature over millions of years, the cave reveals remarkable limestone formations and offers a fascinating insight into the region's ancient geological history.

Return to the main boat to pack your memories and complete the check-out process.

09:45 | Farewell Buffet Lunch
A well-prepared lunch is served in the dining room as Oris Cruises slowly glides past thousands of limestone mountains back toward the harbor.

11:00 - 11:30 | Disembarkation & Farewell
Return to Ao Tien Harbor, bid farewell to our dedicated crew, and board your comfortable transfer back to Hanoi.

15:30 – 16:00 | Arrival in Hanoi
Drop off at your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter, marking the conclusion of an unforgettable heritage journey.
